HELLO, I AM YOUR CHEF BİRNUR ÇÖLOK.

My professional kitchen journey began with the MSA Professional Culinary Arts programme. After my first years in Istanbul I moved to Chicago, where I worked across different culinary disciplines and alongside leading chefs at restaurants in the Michelin star and Bib Gourmand selections, including Alinea, Wood Chicago, Salero and Momotaro.

I then settled in Bodrum and joined the opening team of The Bodrum EDITION as Jr. Sous Chef under chef Diego Muñoz. After that I opened my own restaurant, Bernie’s Kitchen.

Over time, the road from restaurant kitchens to private tables became what is today Rent a Chef Bodrum. In villas, on yachts, at weddings and private events, I bring my fine dining background together with Bodrum’s produce, its seasons and its way of life.
